ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Evolutionary Foundation (EF) is a pioneering organization dedicated to bridging the gap between education and employment in Texas by focusing on Middle-Skill STEM Occupations. These occupations, which require more than a high school diploma but less than a four-year degree, are critical to the growth of the Texas economy, particularly in fields such as advanced manufacturing, information technology, healthcare, and energy.

Our mission is to empower Texas’ future workforce by facilitating strong partnerships between Dallas-based employers and education providers. We aim to equip students with the necessary skills and certifications to excel in Middle-Skill STEM careers, driving economic growth and fostering innovation within the region.

Our goals are as follows:

• Enhance Workforce Readiness: Collaborate with employers to identify the key skills and certifications required for Middle-Skill STEM jobs and ensure education providers align their programs to meet these needs.

• Support Educational Pathways: Partner with local community colleges, technical schools, and training centers to provide targeted support, scholarships, and resources to students pursuing STEM certifications.

• Promote Economic Mobility: Create opportunities for underrepresented populations, including women, minorities, and veterans, to access well-paying STEM careers, thus promoting diversity and economic mobility within the region.

• Strengthen Employer Engagement: Facilitate continuous dialogue between employers and educators to ensure curriculum relevance, provide internships and apprenticeships, and support job placement for graduates.

To define our strategic partnerships, we work with a network of stakeholders including Dallas-based employers, education providers, government agencies, and community organizations. Our partnerships are designed to create a seamless pipeline from education to employment, ensuring students gain the hands-on experience, industry certifications, and job placements necessary to thrive in the modern workforce.

For maximum impact, by focusing on Middle-Skill STEM Occupations, EF is addressing a critical skills gap in Texas. Our initiatives will contribute to the growth of a robust, skilled workforce that supports the state’s economic development while offering students viable career paths that provide long-term stability and advancement.
